Welcome to Mental Health Wellbeing Foundation (MHW Foundation) a source of hope and support for low income individuals and families across the UK. We exist to make mental health support and wellbeing services genuinely accessible, regardless background. Through funded therapy, and strong partnerships with community organisations.
we help people get timely, compassionate support when they need it most.
At the heart of our mission is the belief that mental health is a fundamental right, not a luxury.
We offer a range of services designed to provide practical, early support, including:
funded or low cost counselling and therapy via third party providers
We work in partnership with organisations such as Active Communities Network and local charities to reach people where they are in schools, youth projects, community spaces and homes empowering them with the tools, confidence and support they need to thrive.
Our vision is of communities where everyone can access mental health support early, locally and without stigma.
To get there, we:
build long term partnerships with young people and community organisations, retailers and funders
weave mental health support into everyday settings education, community hubs and family support
reduce waiting times and financial barriers to therapy
champion inclusive, trauma informed practice so people feel heard, valued and safe
We are committed to growing a network of projects and partnerships that make it easier for people to ask for help, receive it quickly, and go on to lead fulfilling and emotionally healthy lives.
We provide funding for accessible mental health support across the UK for individuals and families who face financial, social, or systemic barriers to care.
