The MHW Foundation operates one of the UK’s emerging community focused WEEE and surplus redistribution programmes. We partner with retailers, manufacturers, fulfilment centres and logistics providers to divert surplus and end of life electrical goods away from landfill transforming them into meaningful support for families, schools and vulnerable individuals.
Our multisite operation combines WEEE compliant recycling and bulk redistribution, ensuring every item delivers maximum environmental and social value.
We work with UK retailers, distributors and manufacturers to collect and process:

We work with accredited national recycling partners to ensure all unusable or end of life items are processed safely, ethically and in line with UK environmental regulations.
Whether it’s WEEE, metals, plastics or mixed materials, our partners provide:
Zero to landfill recycling routes
Certified disposal and compliance reporting
Secure handling of sensitive or branded goods
Full traceability for corporate ESG requirements
This ensures every donation usable or not is managed responsibly while protecting our partners’ brand, data, and sustainability commitments.
Our Green Initiative delivers:

We turn surplus, returns and WEEE into measurable environmental and social impact.
We are currently onboarding new partners in retail, tech, logistics, manufacturing and distribution.
